Pond Gaj (Gajski ribnik) Lies on the left side by the road from Slovenska Bistrica to Ptuj near village named Spodnji Gaj.

Around year 1904 on this area a brickworks was built and as a result of abandoned clay-pits today we have 10 ponds in this area. One of those is Gajski ribnik.

The pond is very grassy, only few meters deep but we can catch here a lot of nice carps and immense grass carps. This pond is one of few C&R ponds and lakes in Slovenia.
